British musician Lake Turner returns to collaborate with his childhood friend & multi-disciplinary producer WEM. Gazing back to their roots of a rural upbringing, this beautifully melancholic & contemplative, Emerald Pool is a not quite classical, beatless piece comprising of flowing strings against a wall of ambient synths, which straddles the worlds of the electronic lush-calm akin to Warp's LFO & Mark Pritchard, & the delay/ reverb drenched halo-chamber strings of Kranky's - Stars Of The Lid.
